Description
Automatically relieve built up tank pressure with stainless steel vacuum relief valve
Vacuum relief valve stabilizes pressure via preset pounds per square inch (PSI) settings for the the vacuum side and pressure side. When pressure inside tank on vacuum side exceeds 0.15 PSI valve automatically opens for relief, drawing air into the tank. Conversely, when pressure exceeds 15 PSI outside the tank the valve opens and vents air outside. This keeps pressure within tank systems at a desirable level. The vacuum is set to 0.15psi at the manufacturer. This is cracking pressure to relieve the vacuum and not fully open. With regards to the material, a gasket would be required to create a leak-proof connection so the material could also come in contact with the gasket as well. We offer gasket materials of Teflon, Viton, Buna and EPDM.
