Replacement Parts for Diaphragm Valve Bayonet
From time to time, diaphragm valves will need the bayonet to be replaced. TOP-FLO® bayonet replacement parts are specifically designed to fit in the diaphragm valves of not only TOP-FLO® valves but those of major pump suppliers. These components are rugged and will provide the necessary sealing conditions under a wide range of conditions.
Threaded connection assembled by screwing the diaphragm stud into the compressor thread. Bayonet model is assembled by rotating the diaphragm insert into the compressor and rotating 90-Degrees.
BioPro Diaphragms are interchangeable for the following brands, materials and sizes:

The EPDM is threaded and the stud is molded into the diaphragm. This option is both cheaper and easier to produce which is why it is not the preferred style.
The PTFE has the bayonet because years ago they had threaded inserts and the people in the field would overtighten them and pull the stud out of the PTFE and break them. They came up with the bayonet design to stop the overtightening but for some reason the EPDM model was never updated so we now offer both connection styles.
