Q: What is 3-A and are your fittings 3-A?
A: 3-A Sanitary Standards, Inc maintains a large inventory of design criteria for equipment and processing systems developed using a modern consensus process based on ANSI requirements to promote acceptance by USDA, FDA and state regulatory authorities. They oversee the 3-A Symbol Authorization program and other voluntary certificates to help affirm the integrity of hygienic processing equipment and systems and provide extensive Knowledge Resources to support the training and education needs in the rapidly changing food, beverage, and pharmaceutical industries. Sanitary Fittings offers 3-A compliant fittings.

Q: I need a part that isn’t listed on your website, do you offer custom fabrication?
A: Yes! We offer custom fabrication and have a number of happy customers and you can read more about the process here. You can start the process by filling out a Request a Quote form.

Q: Do you offer Material Test Reports (MTRs) for your products?
A: Yes. Material Test Reports (MTRs) come standard with all 316 stainless steel products. We can provide MTRs for 304 products however we ask that you request these ahead of time as they are not recorded automatically.

Q: The website says you’re currently out of stock for an item I’m interested in.  When can I expect this to be back in stock?
A: We keep a high level of inventory on-hand and replace out of stock items quickly. The usual lead time for out of stock items is about 2 – 3 weeks.

Q: Do you honor tax exempt certificates?
A: Yes, we do! Please submit your tax exempt certificate to sales@sanitaryfittings.us so we can get it on file. Once uploaded, you’ll be able to checkout online without paying taxes.

Q: Do you offer lines of credit?
A: Yes. We offer qualified buyers terms of 2/10 NET 30. Please contact sales@sanitaryfittings.us to request an application.

Q: Can I use my own shipping account for my order?
A: Absolutely. Please send your account number and carrier preference to us in regards to your order and we’ll switch over to your account. We currently work with UPS, FedEx and DHL.

Q: I need a hose, but not sure what I need or can you offer other hoses or sizes that are not listed on your website?
A: Yes, we can offer other hoses as well as custom sizes that are not listed on the website. You can start the process by filling out a Request a Quote form. Be sure to include as much information about your specific needs as possible.

Q: How do I return an item?
A: To return items purchased from Sanitary Fittings, please contact us at sales@sanitaryfittings.us. Sanitary Fittings will accept returns on any product in its original condition within 30 days after delivery. Further details regarding our return policy can be found on our Returns Policy page.

Q: What is your warranty policy?
A: Sanitary Fittings, LLC is a distributor of stainless steel fittings for the food, beverage and pharmaceutical industries.  We source our products from several vendors each with their own unique product warranty. Read more about manufacturer warranties.
