Q If attached every 4’ o.c. to a Simpson DTT1Z what is the load capacity of this hanger.A Unfortunately, we have not had this tested so I cannot give you a concrete answer. I can tell you though, that these hangers are made out of 3/16” material and we recommend the maximum spacing of 8’ for this size. I know we cannot give you a specific weight but hopefully this information will help you out. Let me know if you have any further questions.

Q are these rated for steam lines?A These coupling hangers are rated for a temperature of 230-Degrees F. They are not rated for steam applications.
You have many problems with the descriptions of Hexagonal Tube Hanger with Coupling Collar.
In one spot you say it's threaded for 3/8" threaded tube, in another place you say 3/8"threaded rod. Which one is it?
Worse than that, what is the sleeve made out of and what temp is it rated for. One place you call it ABS.
One place you call it PVC.
One place you call it polypropylene.
Those are three completely different materials, with different temperature ratings.
Lastly your answer to the one question that was asked (weight capacity) is completely wrong. You need to provide a NUMBER for the weight capacity. You say the weight capacity is completely dependent upon what that Tube Hanger is secured to. No it's not! It depends on hanger spacing, what media is the pipe carrying, and yes what it's secured to. I determine hanger spacing based upon the NUMBER you provide.

Q what is the weight bearing capacity?A
The answer to this question is completely dependent upon what that Tube Hanger is secured to. The collar itself is designed to support the weight of the associated tubing/pipe of the same size.
