Relieve tank pressure with stainless steel sanitary vacuum breaker valve
The sanitary vacuum breaker valve is designed to prevent vacuum conditions from occurring in tubing or tanks. These valves are typically mounted
at critical points throughout the processing system and allow for the inflow of atmospheric air to alleviate vacuum conditions.
Draining of tanks can cause pressure differences between the inside of tanks and the outside air causing a downward force. This negative pressure can severely damage tanks causing catastrophic loss of equipment. When positive pressure is restored in the tank, the valve can be closed again to form a tight seal.
Use this product in conjunction with sanitary gaskets and single pin heavy duty clamps.
