Tri-Clamp NPT Threaded Thermometer Cap for measuring tube media
Thermometer Caps, or Instrument Caps, are constructed from 304 or 316 stainless steel and available in tube sizes ranging from 1 - 4" in diameter. Thermometer gauges sold separately.
Note: Additional NPT sizes available upon request.
Sanitary tri-clamp fittings allow for easy assembly and breakdown of line process equipment. Sanitary Fittings recommends using this product with a single-pin clamp and clamp gaskets for a secure connection. Learn more about tri-clamp thermowells.

Q Can I order these thermometer caps blank?A Absolutely. Customers request this all the time. I usually charge $2 less per blank cap because labor for drilling NPT is included with these parts. If you'd like to order a blank thermometer cap please contact me to let me know or you can add this information to your order processing notes during checkout. I can either refund the money or create a special invoice order for the correct price.

So while it is possible to use two threaded apparatus on this fitting you might not achieve the best results. You're looking at about 1/4" of threading per item. This may results in less than optimal secure connection for both products.
