Lagging Thermowells

A lagging thermowell is a type of thermowell designed to be used in applications where the pipe or vessel it is installed in is covered with insulation; it features an extra length, called a “lagging extension,” which allows the temperature sensor connection to protrude through the insulation and be accessible for measurement, even when the vessel is insulated. Available in tri-clamp or flanged versions.
