Questions & Answers 2

Questions and answers of the customers

  1. Q What is the best way to fit 1-1/2″ 1″ Tri-Clamp x Hose Barb Adapter into this hose?  We are currently in the process of changing out some of our older connections and having a bit a trouble putting in the adapter without damaging the hose.  Is there any trick/hack to easily putting on the adapter?
    A

The best trick we have found is hot water. We put PVC hose ends in boiling water for 30-60 seconds. This really softens the up and make pushing the fittings in much easier.  Hope this helps

  2. Q Can this tubing withstand vacuum pressure? Thank you!
A Yes, this is a full vacuum hose. Please make sure to not exceed the temperature range specified on the product page.
