Tri-Clamp Sanitary Spool Assembly

Sanitary stainless steel tube is fabricated to specific lengths with tri-clamp fitting ends.

When combined with other Tri-Clamp fittings, clamps, and gaskets, sanitary spools can build a process line without the need for on-site welding and fabrication, and installed saving time. Tri-Clamp spool pipes also have the added benefit of being non-permanent than their welded tubing cousins and can be easily disassembled, moved, or reassembled in a different configuration. The versatility and cost savings of a prefabricated spool pipe make them a popular solution for tubing needs.  Learn more about tri-clamp spool assemblies.

A Our standard surface finish for these tri-clamp spool assemblies is 32Ra ID/OD. We can also offer 20Ra and 15Ra for an additional fee. Regarding welding specs, we weld to ASME Section IX and AWS 18.1. These are semi-automatically welded.
  14. Do you make or sell any TC fittings that have a dip tube attached? Specifically I am interested in a 1.5” Tri-Clamp. We are using this fitting to connect to a bulkhead for a liquid input and would like to direct the liquid stream straight down into the vessel with the dip tube, to ensure the liquid does not drip down the side of the vessel. We will be connecting the dip tube to a 1.5” Tri-Clamp on the bulkhead and a 1.5” Tri-Clamp to barb adapter (both from Sanitary Fittings).

A We have made what has been referred to as "dip tubes" in the past. I can send you copies of previous customer drawings for dip tubes for your reference. We are able to equip the ends with a variety of fitting connections including tri-clamp elbows, NPT Threads or hose barbs. Please contact us for more information.
  16. what is the pressure rating of a spool
  17. Q what is the pressure rating of a spool
    A

All of our tri-clamp fittings have pressure ratings that are dictated by the type of clamp used in the process line. The pressure rating is also affected by the temperature of the media that you are processing. For exact pressure ratings, please consult any of our Tri-Clamp Clamps for the size that you are working with and it's corresponding pressure rating.
